    Perfect for families- cosy and warm with stunning views!

    Small home bursting with features! All beds comfortable and warm. Bathrooms were well-equipped, exceptionally clean, and hot water was reliable and constant. Ample firewood and kindling supplied so it was always easy to get a fire going, which heated the place quickly and effectively. The views were stunning from the deck and almost every window shared views of snowy mountains. Communication from host was timely and helpful. Instructions for accessing the property were clear and simple. Would definitely recommend this place to families and we would definitely book here again.

    Carport is VERY narrow so take extra care getting in and out. I’d really love a privacy screen (like adhesive frosting) on the carport/laundry door, as it’s in direct view of the neighbours. Location is about five minutes drive into town, and less than that to the iconic Good Shepherd church. Preferred not to walk as you’d have to cross/follow the main road in and out of town (not ideal with smaller kids). But we’d still stay here again!

    Fabulous Tekapo Base

    Fabulous place. Clean, easy to deal with, has everything you need. Fabulous outlook, and amazing in the snow. Lovely and warm. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

    Great location and view. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay

    Couldn't find info book. Was a challenge finding the house. There needs to be a sign or a bigger number 10 somewhere. Carport narrow to park car in.

    Everything about this stay was perfect - no complaints at all. Very clean,nice and cosy,nice walk to lake tekapo Was a beautiful place to be.
