Lovely oasis
So good to be near water and out of the dust for a night. Hippo, birds and crocs at waterhole.
Hot water only available at 6pm till 6am!

Very disappointing experience – we relied on their safari confirmation, only to be told on arrival that no places were a
The location in Tsavo East was nice, but unfortunately our experience with the lodge’s service and communication completely overshadowed the positive aspects.
We were extremely disappointed with the way the lodge handled our safari arrangements. Before our arrival, we communicated with the property and were told that a safari had been booked for us. We even specifically asked whether we would be able to pay by card, and received a reply, so we had every reason to believe that the safari arrangement was confirmed. However, when we arrived at the lodge, we were suddenly told that there were no places available for the safari. This left us in a very difficult situation, as we had relied on their confirmation and had not arranged an alternative safari elsewhere. For a lodge located in Tsavo East, where safari is obviously one of the main reasons guests come here, this kind of communication is unacceptable. We felt misled and very disappointed. If the safari was never actually confirmed, this should have been clearly communicated to us before our arrival, not after we got there. I strongly recommend that future guests get any safari booking and confirmation in writing and double-check it before arriving.

Wonderful luxurious lodge close to Aruba dam.
Wonderful attentive staff who did everything they could to make our stay comfortable . The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The food was outstanding. Our driver said his quarters were good and he had hot water.
