    Lovely holiday home

We loved Ashwood, a beautiful house, very well equipped, very near to Hope Square , with places to eat and drink there. We would deffinately book there again.

The stairs from the ground floor to the first floor had stains on them, we thought people may have spilt food or drink on them. The gas rings on the cooker were spotless, but the base of the oven needed a good clean, we did our best to sort it out. This doesn't reflect on the rest of the house, it is still one of the nicest holiday homes we have been too . In expectations, we said it exceeded our expectations, as we have stayed at some pretty poor places.

It served the purpose to support a participant in the half iron man event that was held in Weymouth.

    Great location with secure parking.

Very expensive and the inflexible 5pm access with a 10am check out doesn't work well for a one night stay.

    Very poor communication

The accommodation is lovely, but incredibly difficult to get hold of any of the staff. I was left on hold for an hour until I could speak to somebody about checking in as they had not sent the check-in details. I lost a pair of trousers at this property. They emailed me to say they had found them and I’d need to send them £30 to get them sent back to me. I then received another email from them saying that they had not found the trousers and they would send me £20 as a gesture of goodwill since then I have not heard from them. I’m not so interested in the £20 gesture I would simply like confirmation that they have definitely not found my trousers. It has been over a month since they’ve responded to me.
