    All in all, we made the most we could

    The location is good. Rooms 20 and 21 share a (common) terrace which is a nice place to unwind in the evening. Room was cleaned thoroughly every day.

    Our room (21) experienced a foul smell each day around 7:30 AM emanating from the kitchenette area which would wake us up without fail. Sometimes more, sometimes less intense - but in all occasions - a very foul smell, and a lousy way to start the day. At first we thought it was a vent from the kitchen or the sewer grate on the street below the window, but it's not. Breakfast was OK if you're vegetarian. Lots of veggies, banana pancakes, oats, fruits, etc but if you're an omnivore you're not not going to get much out of it. You can order eggs (not readily available) and have a bit of cheese and yogurt but that's it. Forget cold cuts, french toasts, regular crepes or even tomato & mozzarella sandwich. Issues with the entry code for the front door on the 1st day. It required two remote resets to get it going. If you plan to take a nap in the afternoon, you might encounter noise from the house being built next door or the loud instructions from the teacher in the ballet school next door (windows wide open).

    BEAUTIFUL and FLAMBOYANT PLACE, wonderful location and lively area! OBRIGADO!

    Wonderful and helpful staff! Very nicely looking property / studios. Very cozy room, extremely clean and designed with a taste and love to details. Incredible breakfast! Studio is located together with a cafe, which offers cold and warm food, very tasty, freshly made from the local products and looking-tasting-feeling nutrition-healthy! Coffee was very tasty with different drinks to choose. We could bring our small dog with us, also property offered us a small bed for a dog! OBRIGADO! P.S. Property has a closed private parking-garage, which a good bonus in Funchal

    We liked everything, very lively and romantic location! Sure, you might hear something from the street or neighbours, but only because the Hotel / Studios itself are in a historic building located in a beautiful area of the city, tightly close to other buildings, and near motorcycle shops. As a motorcycle rider myself I found it cool.

    heel goed verzorgd ontbijt. Kamers waren schoon, netjes en personeel heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Absoluut een aanrader!! Locatie is perfect, loopafstand van het oude centrum en de haven.

    Parkeergarage was wat krap maar super blij dat we daar gratis konden parkeren voor de dagen dat we verbleven.

    Verblijf locatie en ontbijt.

    Badkamer was erg klein en geen ruimte om iets wegte leggen.
