Nice hotel, but we had issues with kids

Nice adults pool, although the kids pool should be expanded. Breakfast had a good variety. Shower room available after checkout and before flying was excellent.

We booked months in advance, based on getting an interconnecting room with our children. Reception claimed that our booking was reset due to change of card and interconnection room was lost. Yet they had a complete history of messages in Booking.com and we weren't informed of any such reset. Very inconvenient to have young children in a room by themselves and basically meant that the adults had to be split into two rooms. We would not have stayed here had we known, but they only told us 2 days in advance and this was weeks after the change of card. Anyway the whole thing seemed like they were covering up their own stuff up and no complimentary offer to make up for the whole situation.
