Beautiful Stresa
We chose this apartment mainly for the location with just an 8 minute walk to the railway station and 15 minutes walk to the ferry terminal. Yes it is an uphill walk from the lakeside as other reviewers have mentioned but easy enough for me in my sixties with dodgy knees but the bonus is the view of the lake and mountains. The apartment is spacious and well furnished and was spotless. There is a Conad and Carrefour supermarket nearby for provisions and many restaurants nearby. All in all well pleased and we very much enjoyed Stresa and the Lake. Just be careful if you go out of main season as ferry services are reduced and we were not able to fit in all the places we had researched. Can recommend the local buses.
No real negatives but I would have liked a cushion on the sofa as I had nothing to support my back (I have short legs) and the kitchen is lacking oven gloves so struggled to get some hot food out of the oven.

Appartement tres bien placé ,confortable Parkings publics gratuits à proximité et stationnement facile Climatisation top
Il faut bien avoir en tête que le logement fournit le strict nécessaire . Draps ,serviettes sont en option :ok on est prévenu mais qd même... Surtout vous n'avez même pas une dosette de café ,machine à laver ok mais même pas une dosette pour commencer.. 1 sachet unique de gel douche par salle de bain pour 3 nuits et 5 personnes :ca fait vraiment juste.. Pour le prix demandé ,on s attendait à mieux .Pas du tout cocooning contrairement aux autres logements de notre road trip en Italie

The apartment has been completely renovated and is very sunny. The air conditioning works perfectly. It has a small, well-equipped kitchen and two nice bathrooms.
