    Apartment was clean and modern, no live TV which was a shame especially during the World Cup.

    Apartment was clean and central.building itself was secure but quite dirty downstairs.

    Even though close to the centre, the location was a bit seedy and dirty.

    I think this may have been a lovely stay had it been sanitized. It is in a bustling part of town with many stores and restaurants, I am sure there is much to explore nearby.

    Do Not Book – Severe Hygiene and Safety Issue We checked into this property on 5/19 after a 10-hour day exploring ruins. We were supposed to start our reservation the next day, but the owners made arrangements that we could come a day earlier. We checked out and abandoned the property less than 30 minutes later due to uninhabitable and unsanitary conditions. The facts of our stay: Hygiene: Upon entering the bedroom, we discovered a used condom on the bedside table. While the rest of the room appeared clean, we had no way to feel assured that things had been sanitized or that sheets had been changed. Immediate Departure: Due to this biological hazard, we immediately left the property without unpacking or staying a single night. Usually, we would wait to see if it could be remedied, but it was getting dark and about to rain, and I needed to get my daughter somewhere secure. Evidence: We took immediate photographic proof of the unsanitary conditions. The photo's smartphone EXIF metadata conclusively logs the exact time, date, and GPS coordinates of this property at our time of check-in. Management Response: When requested a refund for services not rendered, the management company refused and claimed our photographic evidence was "AI-generated" and that we were a common scam. I am not sure how it can be a scam, I have no way to profit from this, and had to pay more for last minute lodging. Booking did nothing for us. They told us we had to take it up with the owners, who were unwilling to accept any responsibility. We have escalated this directly to our financial institution as a merchant dispute for services not received, providing the GPS-tagged photos and the receipt from our replacement lodging as evidence.
