Great stay, lovely house with everything we needed and more
We(6 People) recently stayed at Athina`s Cove. It had everything we needed and more. I would recommend this property to anyone and we would not mind staying there again. The host was friendly and very much helpful. The views were amazing, the house is well looked after and in a secure estate.

A fabulous house in a beautiful quiet location.
The location on a gated estate is very secure, initial registration was complex though requiring intervention by the Security Manager interacting with Head Office and the App lost us after a couple of days and had to be re-registered with the help of the Security manager who was most helpful again. The property is huge and very nice. Housekeeper Tami is exceptional and an absolute darling. She was efficient, unobtrusive, helpful and thorough and we wish her success in her ambitions. The primary reason for booking the property was the swimming pool, to facilitate daily physio exercise, and unfortunately it was so cold it caused cramps so that this was not feasible. The Owner did indicate peas to install air source heat pumps for the pool and we urge him to do so.
The location is quite remote from the amenities of Plett, being a 10-15 minute drive. We did not mind this as we were there to relax and enjoy self catering but anyone looking for daily restaurants and entertainment might find that inconvenient. There was quite a bit of traffic noise from the adjacent main road at certain times of day.

A home away from home! Dont think about it, just book!
This place holds a very special place in hearts. My wife and I got married here with a very intimate and small wedding. Although Athena's Cove don't usually accommodate parties the owner was amazing and allowed us to get married at the house. You do not get a better location with Robberg a mere 2 min drive away to be surrounded by pure bliss in scenery. This is a must stay. They also provided cleaning staff every morning of our stay, the Wi-Fi was fantastic in every part of the house. The bedroom locations provide the privacy that you need if you are travelling with kids and other couples. The security in the estate leaves you with peace of mind to leave your doors unlocked overnight. A home away from home! Thank you, from the van Zyl's :)
