Atholl l Arms
The Atholl Arms Hotel is a historic coaching inn dating back to 1833, offering a traditional atmosphere steeped in Scottish history and character. On arrival, we were welcomed by a friendly and professional receptionist, who ensured a smooth check-in at 3 pm. We stayed in a twin room with en-suite facilities and a small television. While the hotel’s historic charm is part of its appeal, certain areas of the room would benefit from refurbishment to bring them up to a more modern standard. The shower was very good, providing a comfortable flow of warm water, although a slightly higher temperature would have been preferable. Breakfast was of a very good standard and was served in an impressive hall featuring considerable Scottish historical character, which added a distinctive touch to the experience. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable. The welcoming staff, quality breakfast and unique historic surroundings contributed to a pleasant visit. Although some aspects of the accommodation could benefit from modernisation, we would be happy to return to the Atholl Arms Hotel in the futur
There was some dust behind the bedstead and the mattress could do with an upgrade.

inexpensive and fair value for money with great staff let down by dates decore and uncomfortable be.
The staff were very friendly and helpful the breakfast was pretty decent though there was no fruit. The room was spotless.
The place was very old fashioned looking. Dark greens and dark reds with little light. The bed wasn't comfortable to be honest and I woke several times with a sore back.

Good for one night but not longer.
Classic old charm of a Highland hotel. Open fires were so welcoming.
Room was very close to railway station and train noise horrendous. Bathroom had no heating and very little hot water.

Very traditional quaint hotel with lovely lovely staff!
It’s a great location, close to railway station, very handy when surprising family who were staying at caravan park across the road!
Too much pine furniture in bedroom, pillows and mattress could do with being replaced!
