  We had a very pleasant stay. The accommodation was nice, clean and comfortable, and the location was great. Everything we needed was within easy reach.

  Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable. Whenever one of us moved, the other person would wake up. Also, the building next door is currently being renovated, which was extremely noisy. There was drilling and loud construction noise throughout the day. We were not informed about the renovation in advance, which made our stay quite unpleasant.

  Velmi dobrý poměr cena / výkon.

  Lokalita. Všude to bylo kousek. Wifi, kávovar …

  Vysoká vlhkost, ale to je dáno lokalitou :-)

  Awful experience with the host, as the property has a very loud construction site next door.

  It is the first time I am leaving a very bad review about the accommodation. The property is overall nice, and location is great. A small garden is charming. Although the property is very humid, it is just a standard situation for Portugal/Azores and there is a dehumidifier in the house.

  My good impression about the property vanished the first morning during our stay. At 8 o'clock we woke from from a crazy noise, that was a very loud drilling of the wall. Apparently, the house next door had an active construction site! There is no distance between houses, so the next house is basically sharing the same wall with this property. I immediately wrote the host about the noise asking when exactly this noise will stop and that it significantly impacts our stay. Host just fully ignored the message. No apologies, no attempts to resolve the situation, nothing. We were not informed about the construction site in advance, and I am absolutely confident that the host knew that there was an active construction site next door. It is literally impossible not to know. I tried to resolve an issue through Booking, but unfortunately the host had no intentions to offer at least some reimbursement, as during our stay we could not relax, we could not enjoy our stay and recharge. Construction site was loud starting at 7:50-8 in the morning, and it was also active during the day. After we check out, the host finally replied to my message, saying that they can't control the renovation works and these are external factors, and the noise from 8:30 is expected to happen (which was not even true, as the noise was happening from 7:50-8). I tried to ask for reimbursement, and I was just ignored. I have all the videos, that prove the noise and construction nearby. I stayed in a lot of other hotels, and this is usually how a professional property manager behaves: - Informs that there is a construction site nearby (which was absolutely visible in this case) - Offers something as a discount, apologies, additional snacks or anything else, so we do not cancel. I do not recommend to stay here. Today it is about a construction site, and tomorrow it will be about not providing you accommodation at all.
