I stayed here for just one night before catching a long-distance bus, but enjoyed it. The service is warm and thoughtful, and the room was excellent. I appreciated the free laundry room (conveniently next to the gym) and the late-night porridge.
The location is good for Shanghai South station, the south bus station, and the botanical gardens, but maybe not as a longer-term base for exploring the city.
