Great location for a short stay near the water park
We chose this apartment primarily because of its location — it is quite close to the shuttle buses that take you to the water park. Our goal was to spend two nights here and visit Destiny Water Park. One important thing to note: if you want to spend a lot of time walking around the city centre, this location is probably not for you. Within about a 15-minute walk, there is a Decathlon, supermarkets and a few cafés, but not much more. The city centre is usually around 25 minutes away by taxi. We also used the metro, but the station is not within walking distance either. On the plus side, the apartment really has everything you need. It is compact, but very convenient for an overnight stay and for preparing some food. There are coffee capsules, as well as sugar and tea, which is a big plus. There is also hand soap and body wash, and dish soap is provided, so we did not have to rush out to buy basic essentials after arriving. The owner also contacted us via WhatsApp in the morning and sent detailed instructions on how to check in, access the parking, enter the building, and reach the complex, including photos. This made the arrival process very easy and straightforward. There is a nice balcony, and the building is new. We also really liked the check-in process: you receive a door code, so you can arrive even late at night without any problem. There are, however, a few things that could be improved. First, there was no toilet paper in the apartment. Honestly, this is not acceptable, especially when guests arrive from the airport late at night. Luckily, we were travelling with a small child and had wet wipes with us. Second, there is no kitchen towel. After washing the dishes or your hands, there is simply nothing to dry them with. Another thing to note is that the air conditioner is only in the living room. If you leave the bedroom door open, it cools both rooms very well — so well that it can even get a little cold.
The main thing to keep in mind is that the location will not suit everyone. If you are looking for a place within walking distance of the city centre and the main attractions, this is probably not the right choice. There are a few practical issues as well: there was no toilet paper or kitchen towel provided, and the bedroom can get quite hot when the door is closed, as the air conditioner is only in the living room.
