A traditional home with lots of hospitality.
Loved the experience of staying in a traditional Troglodyte Berber House and very spacious. They offered to include us for dinner where we shared a large table with two other couples from Germany and Brazil. The dinner had lots of food and more than we could finish. The owner was very hospitable and greeted us at the front door when we arrived. We will recommend this to anyone traveling by Matmata.
You definitely need a car, but I think that sort of goes without saying, or come with a driver. You are not close or walking distance to anything. No WiFi, but again, I write this just to let travelers know we didn’t expect it nor did we need it the idea is to disconnect.

Foi uma experiência única, dormir na gruta foi algo único porque estava longe de tudo
Várias coisas teriam de ser melhoradas - não há internet (wi fi) - o wc é para cada quarto (privativo) mas fica longe de cada quarto - há muitos filhos no pátio, nomeadamente escaravelhos, baratas e vi um escorpião … devia ter um maior cuidado pq pode ser perigoso

A magical place to stay
Khalid and Habib were great, and thank you to the lady who cooked for us! Place is a dream come true.
I will add a few electric fans to the room, it was crazy hot.
