    Ever wanted to stay in a fortified castle from 1573 with its own fortified gateway?

    Amazing breakfast but check with proprietor first as these are s/c flats not rooms as shown on Booking.com She may do breakfasts but ask first. The location is stunning and the building is amazing. You feel as though you are on a film set. The host was most helpful when my car broke down.

    Bed was smaller than I like double rather than king size
