  Beautiful Smoky Mountain Experience

  The property was clean and well organized. Each bedroom had a private full bath that was so comfortable for everyone. The views were amazing and we saw a mama and 2 bear cubs literally a few feet from our back deck.

  The shower floors were slippery with the soft water. Maybe sticky pads or something to prevent falling.

  HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

  Issues w cabinet: 1. My 80 year old Mother fell entering the 1st floor shower due to the floor in shower. Could have been a serious injury. Someone reported this in May but was ignored. 2. Septic tank cover gone - given the overgrowth, hazard to anyone trying to walk down the hill. 3. Found black mold in closet w/water tank/water softener under steps to basement. 4. Filthy floors. 5. Building only 2 years old, furniture and finishes look 20 years old. 6. Dryer stopped working 2nd day - had to use balcony railings to dry clothes. 7. Roaches found in kitchen. 8. Cobwebs/dusting none existent. 9. Sewer gases throughout entire cabin all week. 10. Couldn’t use balconies due to sewer smell. 11. Spent two days dealing with mgt co to have someone come out to 1) work on dryer (no one ever showed up), 2) address sewer odor in house. 3rd day of vacation some one showed up to address sewer odor; said he regen’d water softener system should address issue. Wednesday evening the odor became so bad family struggled to sleep. Purchase a floor fan and candles trying to ease the order. 12. Kitchen not stocked to support # of people on listing. Plates/etc only enough for 8 people. Had to purchase paper plates and plastic silverware. 13. Blinds broken in a couple of bedrooms and living area. 14. Had to tighten screws on the bar stools to use. 15. Trash cans too small to accommodate a large group or a long stay. Trash picked up by cleaning crew after each stay; on Thursday (one night remaining) mgt co agreed to have trash picked up if we wanted it. We insisted. 16. 5th day at cabin finally got plumber out. Found PVC pipe with hole; waste water had been flowing down wall settling on basement floor. Only compensation offered was to contact booking.com if we decided to cut our trip short and ask for a refund for the unused nights. We started contacting mgt co Sunday, was a constant throughout the trip.

  I would have left if it wasn't for the views

  The view is amazing. The bathrooms were immaculately clean the kitchen was nice and the beds are super soft. Everything else needed major improvement.

  Missing remotes for fireplaces Green hot tub Dead bugs all over the windowsills Wasp infestation on the lower deck, the wasps then came into the house. Nothing was dusted (fans, ledges, lights) Spiderwebs in every corner The fixtures and outlets were loose and made a high pitched squeaking noise. A few TVS had speaker issues. When I brought this all up to the host he just said he would send out the cleaning company and ignored all the other issues. For how much this cabin cost. I was disappointed.
