    Great camp

We had an amazing stay at Aurum dunes luxury camp back in May. The staff did a great job taking care of us. From the food, sunset camel ride to the desert 4x4 excursion it was all a blast. They also planned our pickup from Marrakech and drop off in Fes. This was all facilitated by our awesome driver Adil. He was reliable, knowledgeable, drove safely and spoke great English.

    Nice experience

The camel ride took 1.3 hours from Merzouga to the sunset point where we stopped for 45 minutes to see the beautiful sunset in the desert. 1.3 hours is hard on a camel and you should be in a good condition to do it. After the sunset we were taken to our tent which had no aircon. So, we had no heating from there. There was some heating from a device but the room stayed very cold for the night. . The dinner was excellent and the breakfast was okay. There was no heating in the dining room. To go back to Merzouga we used the 4x4 car of the camp. It was very nice to ride over the dunes. For a better desert ecxperience you should visit the Sahara in April or May. December and January are too cold

    Amazing experience 😁

Amazing experience. We camel trekked for around 1.5 hrs to get there and were met with a lovely mint tea and snacks. The tent was gorgeous and big enough for our family of four. We were lucky enough to get a tent right on the edge of the property so stargazing was spectacular and we had a ten second walk to watch the sunrise! The campfire and dancing was so much fun.

    Great experience

Absolutely a once-in-a-lifetime experience! first you start with a 1.5-2.5 hour camel trek through the Merzouga Dunes (spectacular) and you end up at the camp site. Food (Breakfast and Dinner) and Music was excellent! I never ate so much in my life; very filling for sure! Room had hot showers and full flushing toilets; including the bed so amenities were excellent compared to many hotels in Marrakesh or Fez especially being in the heart of the sahara desert for sure. If you stay here for more than one night, recommend doing dune boarding and they have boards outside to do; fun and also tons of camels roaming around too, approach with respect and caution if you are going to pet them. The wifi and cell signal is not the greatest here but knowing you’re in the middle of the desert, you would focus more on the experience itself. They will take your luggage for you and will be there by the time you finish the camel trek.
