  Richtig wunderschön aber Nur für Natur-Lovers

  Die Unterkunft habe ich geliebt. Sie liegt wortwörtlich im Dschungel, bietet viele Aktivitäten, wie zum Beispiel die Türe zu einer "Lost City", und hat fünf verschiedene Pools. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit und meine Wohnung war riesig. Ich mochte auch das Konzept, die Badezimmer in einer Höhle zu bauen und den Boden mit Steinen zu belegen.

  Die andere Seite der Medaille: Mitten im Dschungel heißt auch, die Lage mit den heimischen Tieren zu teilen, vor allem mit Insekten und Fröschen. Letztere sind in der Nacht ziemlich laut und geben ein Konzert, was auf leicht erwachbare Schläfer unangenehm wirkt. Nach der zweiten Nacht habe ich mich daran gewöhnt, aber man sollte am besten darauf vorbereitet sein.

  A Fairytale Paradise

  When I booked my stay here, I thought with cynicism, 'mmm, a castle - likely' but I thought I'd try for one night. I wished I'd booked for longer; it is sooooo fabulous and the facilities and privacy just amazing. I loved it! The staff are lovely and the food is especially yummy and the staff will bring it to you in your room, in the library or in the Dragon's Grotto by one of the pools overlooking the river. It is exotic and romantic and soooo peaceful. The hour massage was wonderful. Everything was so reasonably priced. Everything about Avalon Castle and Spa is extraordinarily beautiful.

  There was so much to love, but I would warn guests that the road to the Castle is narrow and desolute and I know we were really worried that we'd taken the wrong turn. Happily, there were some signs, which could be bigger, that reassured us that we were on the right path. Once you access the parking lot, you'll need to get assistance to carry your bags down the first of many flights of stairs. We are in our early to mid 70s and coped reasonably well but if you have any mobility issues, then sadly this is not for you.

  Feel like royalty !!!!

  Oh my God where do I start?! Ever since I went to Avalon the first time for 6 days in June 2025. I have returned now three times and that's the only place I would rather stay at when I go to Ubud. Why?? Because it's absolutely insanely beautiful, calm, peaceful, relaxing, and tucked away if just far enough Central but still close. If you feel that you're a queen at heart or a king, you belong in this Castle, Avalon you have my heart. The staff, the amenities, the quietness of no bikes nothing but the river and the feeling of being right In the jungle The indie is the most phenomenal part of this place. I love the big rooms and just being completely in touch with nature. It's nothing you have seen before and that is the reason why I keep going back
