Was a great place to stay. Nice to be away from the crowds of tourists. Plenty to do with the pool, canoes etc - there is a lot more sea life in the water than further up the lagoon. Desiree was so helpful and accomodating- nothing was too much trouble. The cleaning staff were excellent and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at Avana Beachfront Apartments with manager Desiree and friendly staff. The studio has all the amenities , and a wonderful view of the lagoon from the deck. It’s close enough to Muri restaurants, stores and the night market to make it easy for dining options and breakfast coffee. Had a lovely time paddling in the kayaks and swimming in the pool when the weather was windy. Friendly, helpful staff who do their best to make sure you get a wonderful holiday. We loved our 2 weeks here and look forward to returning .

We had an upstairs room that was large & comfortable with a balcony ,bed was good plenty of chairs ,the view from the deck was good although impaired by trees which could do with a bit of thinning out , beach & pool were good & closeby. plenty of choice with kayaks single & double with great paddling to the nearby Island & round the lagoon although launching was hard at low tide on the stones . Allthough advertised with air conditioning we found on arival it was an extra cost per day because of expensive power.however we had an enjoyable time at this location.

The friendliness of the staff from the first day to the last was very welcoming. You felt they knew you. The accommodation was more than expected, a loaf of bread, a bunch of bananas, as well as jam, marmalade, butter was all in the unit on arrival. The wifi was fickle. We were lucky on our day of departure the staff let us carry on using our unit until the afternoon, thank you
