    Licht und Schatten

    Die Unterkunft ist blitzblank. Die Lage ist strategisch gut, wenn man den Bereich zwischen Polis und Pafos + Troodos-Gebirge erkunden will. Dafür muss man in Kauf nehmen, dass aufgrund der Straßen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten Autofahrten von 15-30 Minuten erfordern. Die Zimmer in der Villa sind angenehm groß. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche hauseigenen Wein und Orangen aus dem Garten. Der Pool ist wunderbar. Auf Nachfragen wurde stets sehr zügig reagiert, die Mitarbeiter der betreuenden Firma vor Ort waren sehr nett. Trotz der unten genannten Minuspunkte alles in allem daher noch ein sehr gut.

    Aus der Anzeige bei Booking.com ist nicht zu entnehmen, dass der Vermieter auf ein Deposit von 200.-€ per Vorauszahlung verlangt und auch den Key Code erst nach dieser Zahlung benannt. Da vorher bereits der Betrag für die Unterkunft bei der Buchung bezahlt wird, kann man - wenn man dann von dem Deposit erfährt - nicht mehr zurück und muss zahlen. Das Haus muss man dann blitzbank putzen, um das Deposit wieder zu bekommen. In dem Haus gibt es nichts für das grundlegende Kochen, das ist o.k., aber es hätte uns gefreut, vorher zu wissen, dass Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker und schneidende Küchenmesser nicht vorhanden sind. In der Nacht bellen Hunde sehr laut. Das Haus hat aufgrund seiner Lage im Wohnviertel keinen weiten Blick in die Landschaft, aber einen schönen Orangenhain im Umfeld. Es ist vergleichsweise dunkel im Haus, aber angenehm kühl.
