  Near restaurants and supermarket

  No lift. 7 flights of stairs (Not described on Booking.com as this) No oven (removed and roughly boarded up space with hardboard). No toaster. No iron or board. Microwave would have to be carried from one end of kitchen to other to use the one and only socket. Second bathroom had no fixed shower. No views (as promised) unless looking through an air conditioning unit counts? During one night, after heavy rain, the living room flooded (Leaking roof) Axel asked us to mop it up (Where were the cleaners?) The net curtains that hung on the balcony glass doors were filthy and one was missing, its hanger had been broken for some considerable time I imagine. This was stuffed behind the TV. The curtains acted as effective sponges when the water from the balcony poured in. Manager constantly complained odf a bad leg and never showed his face despite asking to meet him and discuss problems. On arrival date (My mobile had died) We rang on another mobile and was told to come back tomorrow after we explained the situation. Only after pointing out that we had all 5he booking details did Axel give us the entry code (Never attempted to meet us) There was no information in the flat about where supermarket was or any other info (on website only) The only info was that he was an artist and we could buy the paintings in the flat. We passed on that (Had to be seen) There is no way that the apartment is luxury. We asked if there was somewhere we could be moved to, but no. I do not know who owns the apartment but Axel is not equipped to carry out management of the property. He needs to go on a customer service course. We were very considerate customers and endured the apartment and shortcomings. Booking. com need to see the place and check on its description as "luxury" . If you want a self catering place, this is not it. Sorry, but must try harder. Very disappointed holiday makers. Phill

  Joli appartement recommandable.

  L’appartement est moderne, joliment decoré et grand. Le confort est au rendez-vous.Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec Axel. Nous recommandons cet appartement.

  Nous avons regretté de ne pas avoir pris l’option du parking à 25 euros, plutôt chère,car il n’y a pas de place au bord de la rue de l’immeuble et la police municipale nous a dressé une amende dans une autre rue…

  There are better-value properties nearby.

  The flat was clean and the beds were fine.

  Within just 18 hours, the host reminded us 4 times to pay tourist tax and parking, and 3 times to check out by 10am. He refused to send check-in details until we provided copies of our IDs. His manner was rude and demanding, despite using “cute” emojis. He also demanded an extortionate €40 fee for our small, clean dog for one night, so we reluctantly kept him in the car overnight in the €25/day garage. The flat is up many stairs, making luggage difficult, and is far from the old town.
