Fijne bohemian studio tussen La Punta en Zicatela
Mooie moderne bohemian studio op toplocatie in Puerto Escondido. Perfect wanneer je dichtbij strand en centrum wil vertoeven in alle rust (tussen La Punta en Zicatela beach gelegen). Het zwembad is fantastisch ter verkoeling want het was erg vochtig en warm tijdens ons verblijf. Ondanks dat we de gezamenlijke ruimtes (terras, bedden aan zwembad,…) wat sfeerloos en gedateerd vonden, gaf het wel een meerwaarde dat je kon rusten na een dag surfen of uit huis, bij de studio zelf. De host stond vlot in contact via Whatsapp zowel voor als tijdens ons verblijf en hielp ons uit de nood met een late checkout wanneer we ziek werden. Niets leek hem te veel. Vlakbij is een superleuke koffiebar (Atika café) waar we iedere ochtend de dag gestart zijn. Fijn dat er drinkwater ter beschikking is.
Keukenfaciliteiten en gerei zijn basic voor mensen die de studio echt willen gebruiken om te koken. Koelkast is dan weer héél groot naar verhouding. De studio werd niet schoongemaakt tijdens ons verblijf, wat jammer is, zeker gezien al het zand etc. Er liep regelmatig een hond rond die zijn behoefte aan het zwembad deed. We misten de huiselijke sfeer of een aanspreekpunt (of personeel dat vlot Engels sprak) bij aankomst of tijdens het verblijf, dit geeft zo’n meerwaarde aan een verblijf als deze voor ons persoonlijk. Nu was het niet duidelijk wie personeel was en/of wat bepaalde mensen bij het verblijf deden.

Very pleasant stay
Our stay was really good, and we would recommend this hotel. We liked the large bed, the spacious room, and the calm atmosphere. The air conditioning worked very well, and the mini kitchen was practical, especially with the fridge for storing a few things. The pool was also enjoyable and appreciated.
