Aanrader als je Monreale en Palermo wilt bezoeken
De B&B ligt aan een smal weggetje en om in Monreale (kathedraal zeker bezoeken!) te komen moet je nog een stukje klimmen. Maar de gastheer brengt de met de auto naar het centrum of naar de bushalte als je naar Palermo wilt. Lopend terug is geen probleem, onderweg kom je nog een supermarkt tegen. Ontbijt was prima, je zit heerlijk in de mooie tuin. Fijn zwembad.

We approached Monreale from the centre of Palermo and the GPS was trying to send us through the ZTL zone so we ended up calling the host who was extremely helpful, sending us their precise location and advising how to get out of Palermo. When we arrived we were greeted by the hosts who were very friendly and helpful - the best we met during our 10 day trip - and who had upgraded our room for no extra charge. The host kindly took us into Monreale with recommendations for dinner - we had an excellent meal at the fish restaurant, Ciambra. A steep, and at times dark, walk back to Al Giardino took about 15 mins. The next morning, after a delicious breakfast outside, we explored the stunning garden - a real oasis after the chaos of Palermo! The pool was closed but looked as if it would be lovely in the season. We were sad to leave our charming hosts and would definitely recommend this B & B.

für Erkundung von Monreale und Palermo sehr gut gelegen
Sehr nette Vermieter, die uns auch einen kostenlosen Transport zum Stadtzentrum angeboten haben und viele hilfreiche Infos für unseren Palermo-Besuch gegeben haben. Frühstücksbüfett für süditalienische Verhältnisse sehr gut (sowohl herzhaft, als auch süß), mit frisch-gepresstem Orangensaft und selbstgebackenem Kuchen. Der Pool war bereits abgedeckt, sodass wir diesen nicht mehr nutzen konnten.
