Amazing location but also quiet. Would definitely pick this area again.
Bed was very uncomfortable. Everything else was wonderful.

Great location and spacious room, but comfort and hospitality fell short of expectations.
We appreciated the convenient location, spacious room, and historic character of the 300-year-old home. The host was proactive and helpful, contacting us before arrival to coordinate check-in and providing clear directions to the property.
At approximately $230 per night, we expected greater comfort, transparency, and attention to detail for our two night stay. Breakfast was more of a light morning snack, with no hot options or fresh fruit readily available. When I requested something fresh, I was offered an apple. While we understood this was a family-owned B&B, we didn't realize the main common area also served as the family's living, dining, and office space. Passing through this area to reach our room felt awkward, particularly as family members rarely acknowledged us. This arrangement should be clearly disclosed, especially for guests seeking privacy. We understand that a 300-year-old home comes with some noise and quirks. However, damaged entrance doors, aging shutters, inadequate light-blocking curtains, and uncomfortable pillows are issues that could easily be addressed. Overall, the location and room size were positives, but the experience fell short of expectations for the price.
