    A quieter Assisi experience for 2 Via Francesco pilgrims

    Staircase right next to the property, giving us access to San Damiano. The staff was exceptional. Tara helped us with reserving a taxi to the train station on the morning of our departure. Breakfast was special, and to order for a small extra charge, and totally worth it. It was the perfect place to end our walk from La Verna to Assisi.

    Be aware that it is a 1.5k walk to and from the Assisi town center (steep up and down hill) for restaurants and tours. We were aware of this when booking, and were prepared for it.

    Simple but a very nice room with a spacious bathroom in a typical Italian style stone house. A very nice garden with a clean pool and a gorgeous view over the Assisi‘ hills. Two lovely hosts!
