  Short stay in the historical centre.

  I loved the location and the grand entrance hall. The room was spacious and I loved the little balcony.

  The shower was a little old and the shower curtain a bit dirty but apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay.

  The location was good

  We stayed for 3 days and have hot water only the last day, when we were already leaving. There were not clear instructions how to enter the building and in which floor it is located. No one is answering the what’s app messages. But the staff that welcomed us and the cleaning lady were nice

  I have used booking many times but am now doubtful if I will agian.

  Absolutely nothing

  Everything. Do not be fooled as we were by their false descriptions. This property is not fit to stay in. The building which I’m sure back in the day was beautiful is now so old and decayed that it should be condemned. There is an elevator which you need to pay for its use (not mentioned in their description) and after exiting it still walk up stairs. We had an issue entering the building because the wrong code was sent to us. Once entering this building the smell of humidity and the crumbling walls and mold was shocking. There wasn’t anyone to greet us and we had to find our way to the “reception” room which was completely empty. After several attempts we were finally able to reach someone on WhatsApp by texting them for information as to where our rooms were. We finally found them only to enter into a room that was completely the opposite of their given description. There were mold spores on the wall above my shower. The toilet seat was unhinged and broken. The bathroom “amenities” was a hand soap pump with a broken spout. The beds and pillows were thin and uncomfortable. The supposed “balcony view” was of the buildings cavity with only one operational door opening. We stayed one night only and immediately left the following morning. I am in dispute with booking to refund my payment to my credit card which is proving to be difficult. After many calls to them and asking for a refund to my credit card and speaking to various people their only solution was to give me a ridiculous taxi voucher (which I will not use and can only be used through booking and for a limited time) and a small amount of credit for future use. Booking should be responsible when allowing a hotel to post untruths regarding their properties and remediate their clients by refunding them in the form in which they paid.
