    La struttura ha una ottima posizione, molto vicino al campus universitario. La camera è molto bella e pulita e Alessandro è molto gentile.

    If you are looking for something completely different near Cosenza, this could be it!

    Cosenza/Rende is a complex place (I have been staying in and around the city for many years) and Grecale is beautifully situated high above, near the university, about 6km from the Cosenza Nord-Rende motorway junction. The views are wonderful. The lodging is extraordinary : extremely modern, super clean, and with excitingly different lighting , a beautiful bathroom, and ample, safe parking. Very friendly and charming owner who had to struggle with my basic Italian for us to understand e o! Good tea and coffee facilities are part of the startlingly unusual room furnishings. My room had a fireplace, but it was 32°C so I didn't try it out!

    The numbering in Giulio Cesare street has changed and it took me 15 minutes to figure out where Grecale is. There are no name signs on the main street side, and it is only when you turn off the road where Google Maps says N° 10 is supposed to be, under a large gateway, that you find the entrance. You need to call the owner, in Italian, to tell him you are there. No English spoken. The WiFi was out of action, but the host set it up again very quickly, so I was not inconvenienced at all. The eat-in-room breakfast, however, needs to be completely re-thought. It is pre-packaged, waiting for you, and consists of dry, sweet bakery items only.
