A Welcome Nature Break
The host was extremely welcoming and attentive. Providing a calm and approachable experience to the stay. The facilities were incredible with a gracious introduction to Japanese style of living. The view from the balcony was a delight everyday, absorbing nature through the woodland and river. The Japanese breakfast was delicious, informative and beautiful. The host every morning took great care to share with us what it contained. A wonderful delivery of Japanese cuisine. The location was well placed for those who want to feel closer to nature but still with access to town. My partner and I do not mind a walk, but in times of need there is a bus that takes you most of the way. The beds were super comfy, we slept extremely well. The host topped it off with the offer of pick up and drop off at the train station. We stayed for 2 nights, could of absolutely stayed longer. Would stay again.
Nothing. We were a couple with medium sized luggage who loves nature. Perfect for us. Our stay exceeded the expectations based on the photos.

Perfect B&B for a trip to Nikko
This B&B offered everything I wished for - a beautiful room with a balcony out to the river, great location with close proximity to shrines and other attractions and Izumi as a wonderful host. As a guest you can really see how he pours his heart into this B&B. Amazing breakfast, an introduction to Japanese culture and great recommendations for tourist attractions. Thank you Izumi, I will definitely come back a second time.
