Beautiful
What a perfect stay! We loved everything about B&B Cornice. Communication, directions and self check-in was easy. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Gluten free breakfast was available, I did give the host advance notice. The grounds are beautiful and the view of the medieval village is breathtaking. The walk to the medieval village was easy and a nice walk to the restaurants at night. We loved sitting on our balcony and the awning provided shade making it very comfortable. Benedetta is an amazing host.

Perfect in every way!
Beautiful room with fun pictures of Sophia Loren. Amazing breakfast every morning outside with the panoramic view of San Gimignano. Use of the washer/dryer was nice. Easy stroll into the historic town.

If you’re planning on a visit to SG, this is The place!
What a fabulous stay we enjoyed at La Cornice. The location is perfect with the absolute best views of San Gimignano possible. Access is straightforward and the private parking is close and convenient. The walk into town is a quick, easy 10 minutes. Our room was actually large bedroom and attached living room with a large functional bathroom. Located in a neighborhood, it is a quiet local spot. The patio deck off the bedroom is equipped with an automatic awning in case the wind picks up. To ensure maximum darkness and quiet, there is a metal covering that you can lower that shuts all that out. Ingenious Breakfasts are made to order with a large menu to choose from along with espresso drinks and juices. There is a kettle and capsule coffee maker located in the entryway, so no need for any of that in the rooms. This is a B&B not a hotel so why would there be coffee makers in the rooms? Finally, Benedetta is the sweetest most accommodating hostess. And a joy to converse with!
