Perfect welcome, dinner and breakfast in a lovely home high above Fornovo
This is an absolutely beautiful B&B high on a hill above Fornovo. For Via Francigena pilgrims, this means a stiff walk uphill after you've walked nearly 20 miles from Fidenza, but the welcome is worth it, and besides, you won't have to start your day on that hill the next morning. My host welcomed me with a beer, enjoyed at an outdoor table. My room was absolutely beautiful, as is the entire ivy-covered house. My host served a fantastic home-cooked dinner, including pasta, pancetta-wrapped veal and a salad featuring produce from her garden. Also a lovely breakfast, and instructions on how to intercept the Via Francigena without having to down-climb the hill.

A Via Francegina portal to another world!
A quiet country haven one km up a hill on the Via Francegina towards our next town. The warm host is a marvelous cook so be sure to order dinner ahead of time. Pilgrims, this is a place to rest and recharge before suffering onward.

Schöne Lage, saubere Unterkunft, ungenaue Beschreibung.
Sehr nette Wirtin, freundlich und kompetent Zimmer sauber Frühstück gut
Das Bad liegt ein Stockwerk tiefer als das Zimmer, die Treppe ist öffentlicher Bereich. Bei Benutzung in der Nacht ist das sehr unangenehm. Wenn das aus der Beschreibung ersichtlich gewesen wäre, hätte ich eine andere Unterkunft gebucht.

Manuela, la proprietaria è super gentile e disponibile. Le stanze e i locali sono molto puliti e accoglienti. La colazione è meglio di quella in un albergo! Super consigliato
