    NICE SHORT STAY FOR ADVENTURERS

    On the map it seems close to Lecco - and it is! - but after a steep 10 minute ride with many sharp-and-steep curves. I think that in winter drive there may be an adventure under certain circumstances. In fact this is the lower station of the cabin lift that goes up the highest hill above Lecco. Place is ran by Toni who also manages the lift and the small bar. Place seems to be kinda a mountain chalet before but is very seriously and nicely renovated not long ago, rooms are just fine, beds and bedding are good, bathroom is OK. Breakfast is rich in assortment with salty and sweet bites, and the coffee and croissants - excellent! Parking is impressively big and even a bus line goes up there. the price is significantly lower than down-there in the town and close around the lake. The nature up high is impressive - I liked it a lot and a the fresh clean air too.

    The key system provided by Tiny was a bit complicated as well as the getting in and out - but not a drama at all. In the mornings - especially on weekend days - a lot of cars, hikers and tourists with or without pets start arriving in the early morning hours and it is getting way too noisy outside - and way too early in the morning too. All meals except for the breakfast you have to arrange by your own down in town - but Tony will give you good advice on that.
