Mucha escalera!!
Excelente!!! ubicación, cerca de la estación terminal de trenes y buses Catania Centrale.
La extensa escalera ,de mármol para acceder a la habitación. Son dos pisos pero de edificio antiguo (muy lindo y bien reciclado) pero equivalen a 4 pisos normales. Después de andar todo el día y al llegar cansado tienes que subir más de 50 escalones. El colchón de 2 plazas tenía dos posos de cada lado. Deberían renovarlo.

Avoid this place.
An apology to breakfast. "Breakfast included" turned to be a Croissant and lukewarm coffee to be picked up from a place 500 metres away, on showing a voucher.
The entrance was difficult to get in. When I got past the gate, I found out the the place was on third storey, not mentioned on the website. I had to lug my bags to third storey by steep, dark stairs where there was a real risk of fall. There is no elevator. There was no reception staff. The doorkeys took some time to arrive by efforts of a lone housekeeping staff. The room was tiny with space barely for a single bed. Bathroom was sans toiletries. There is no nearby store to buy these. I shudder to think of an emergency medical situation with no staff most of the times.

Poor communication
The location to the historic sites and some nice restaurants and bars was good. Some people state that the area is rough but the whole of Catania is fairly rundown, we didn't feel unsafe as others have suggested.
Having seen that there were some poor reviews on Google and comments about a lack of info on access instructions and a lack of a safe luggage store I tried to contact the owner several times to confirm these details, I received no response until I contacted booking.com. Even then the details weren't forthcoming. The luggage store is a damp, unlocked cupboard in the buildings central staircase so anyone with access to the building could access your stuff. I would not recommend based on these points.

Einrichtung wertig, alles sehr sauber und da zum Innenhof sehr ruhig. Der HOST war bei meiner Ankunft telefonisch direkt erreichbar und damit mein Zugang zum Schlüssel möglich.
Es gab kein Frühstück, keinen Bademantel (s. Beschreibung). ...und kein Ankleidezimmer, das ich zwar nicht benötige, es aber in der Beschreibung stand?!
