A perfect base for the castle and nearby restaurants plus an unmissable drive to Floresta
Having the freedom to make tea or coffee downstairs and take our time over breakfast yet still having a lovely chat with Pippo's wife (in Italian). Wonderful tips on where to go and what to see especially with opportunities to explore the natural environment under Pippo's expert guidance. The coffee on offer was excellent! Everything very sensitively done as regards health and environment.
The breakfast facilities and setting were great yet we would like to offer a few suggestions: cereal bowls needed next to the cereal dispensers and glasses for the fruit juice. We made do with tea cups :) Although my husband was quite ok with it I was a little sensitive to the bright lighting first thing in the morning but managed to use only the stairlights for a softer start to the day. True, there is some light coming in from the glass half-door but a small bedside type lamp near the kitchen area would make it perfect for me. Loved the fireplace and thoughtful touches. The homemade dark chocolate cake and mosto/cinnamon jelly tasters were magnificent.

Completely charming accommodations and great atmosphere along with a very welcoming and helpful host.
Charming, comfortable and well appointed. Couldn’t have asked for more fascinating environment in the old medieval part of town near the hilltop castle.
No complaints whatsoever!
