  Lovely family but need a car for the stay

  The family who runs Villa Irma was absolutely lovely. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, and I genuinely appreciated their hospitality. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with a large, lush garden full of fruit trees and stunning views. It’s a peaceful setting that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of Sorrento. Unfortunately, the location was a significant drawback for me. While the peaceful surroundings are wonderful, the property is quite isolated, and transportation can be very challenging without your own vehicle. The nearest bus stop is approximately a 15–20-minute walk away, along a road with no sidewalks and very limited street lighting, which can feel unsafe after dark. Even something as simple as popping out for a quick meal, coffee, or drink requires planning around transportation. There’s really no easy way to come and go spontaneously, which made exploring the area much more difficult than I anticipated. There were also a couple of issues with the room itself. The shower had extremely poor water pressure, to the point where there was barely any water coming out, which made showering quite frustrating. Additionally, while I appreciated having my room cleaned, I noticed that my personal belongings were repeatedly moved and reorganized by housekeeping. I would have preferred that my things be left where I placed them. Ultimately, the family was wonderful, and the property itself is truly beautiful. I have nothing but kind things to say about the people who run it. However, I think it’s important for future guests to understand how limiting the location can be without a car, along with some of the practical inconveniences. I would recommend Villa Irma to someone looking for a peaceful retreat with their own transportation, but it wasn’t the best fit for me as a solo traveler hoping to explore Sorrento and the surrounding areas freely.

  15 minutes avant notre départ le matin, le proprio nous a offert un café!!!!! en disant "10 !!!!!

  aucun déjeuner, lit confortable, loin de Sorrento, véhicule obligatoire pour se déplacer, situé haut en montagne.

  proprio de mauvaise humeur, piscine interdite d'accès, pas de service aux chambres, douche aucune pression d'eau, les proprios ne parlent qu'italien, il nous a enguelé pour avoir utilisé la piscine??? il n'y avait pourtant aucune contrindication

  It felt remote but it was very clean. No breakfast served and no place close by to get breakfast or coffee.

  It was very clean. We could not find it but we’re close and the owner came and got us. Also arranges a tour to Capri and a taxi for going into Sorrento.

  The location was hard to find the first day . Some written info about the shuttles would be good. We knew they existed but had no idea where they left from the property.

  Not too impressed

  The view

  The bed was not too comfortable, location too far , can only reach by transportation. No stores near by .
