Really nice owner, super helpful and friendly. It’s a renovated old haus with it’s original feeling. The Haus is very clean and well maintained..

I already know how much I’ll miss the breakfasts here. We stayed in the most enchanting B&B in Dongo, run by a wonderfully kind older couple whose warmth and care made our stay feel like something out of another era. Our beautiful blue apartment overlooked their expansive, lush garden, where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. Every day, the owners personally brought us a generous spread of local delicacies: freshly baked cakes, delicious cheeses, seasonal fruit, homemade jams, tea, and coffee. The jams alone deserve their own review! Everything felt so thoughtful, so personal, and so deeply connected to the beauty of the region. Our frescoed bedroom was breathtaking. Waking up in a room with such history and character, surrounded by the quiet of the garden, felt like stepping into a painting. There was a romance to the entire experience that is difficult to put into words. It felt like a little escape into another world, where mornings unfolded slowly, breakfast was served with love, and the simplest details became memorable. Dongo is a charming town and a wonderful base for exploring Lake Como, with Varenna and Laglio both approximately an hour away. We were able to discover so much of the surrounding area while returning to the peace of this lovely home. If you’re visiting Lake Como, please stay here. There is something truly special about this place, and I hope we have the chance to return one day.
