    Hospitality's Warm Embrace

    We were determined to go to the Ventimiglia Market on Friday so stopped off for a day in this border town. We absolutely loved the vibe of our accommodation, as Edith is a thoughtful host. Our room overlooked the ocean and also had a side view of Monaco. It felt dramatic and exciting, particularly as when we were there, Ventimiglia was experiencing a massive rainstorm, its first for months! The infinity pool was amazing, and when the weather calmed down, we had a great swim in it. Highly relaxing and glamourous. We loved going to Edith's fabulous restaurant near the train station. The continental breakfast was enjoyable and the coffee good.

    Not so much a matter of not liking this, more for information: For those who are driving, the location is wonderful, with views over the Mediterranean. I myself was catching the train, so was quite reliant on drivers to get around at night or with luggage as it was a way out of town. Fortunately Edith organised us a lift home at night and other times finding a taxi was quite easy.

    Great view but that was all . The rest was bad

    The place had a great view

    If you didn’t have a car you would never get there. It is about 2-3 kms to the train station up and down a steep hill . The breakfast was terrible and not worth eating.
