    Our stay at the hotel was not the best, taking into account the staff and room condition.

    There was nothing notable about this hotel that stood out to us. Our experience was not the best.

    To start off the staff was not friendly or helpful. Upon going in the room, we noticed it was dirty and the sheets were not properly cleaned. The water in the bathroom was also a problem as there was no hot water; they refused to provide us with any and stated we could use the water kettle if we wanted hot water. The fridge was also very dirty. Furthermore, we booked a non-smoker room but found several cigarette buds throughout the room. The description of the hotel when booking is very misleading, and if many of the things we noticed were initially mentioned we would not have booked this stay.

    A comfortable stay in a great location providing good value and great food.

    The location is within walking distance of many of the attractions, it’s good value, the WiFi worked well as did the hot water, and the rooftop restaurant is amazing!! The manager was very helpful in arranging transport and suggesting best options for getting to attractions outside town.

    We booked from overseas and were assured, in writing, we could pay by US credit card on arrival. But when checking in, we were told the machine wasn’t working and we’d have to pay cash - but we are at the restaurant and had no trouble paying there in cash. It was late at night and we had to go to 4 different ATMs to find one that worked.
