Wonderful location for hiking, exploring the Golden Circle, and Silfra snorkeling. Great restaurants in town and very easy access to a grocery store and gas station.

A charming and cosy little house
This is really a wonderful place to stay while visiting Iceland. We are a family of five, and we used it as our base to explore the Golden Circle and the south, going as far as Vik. It was a comfortable and beautiful place to come back to after a day spent exploring and reset and rest. The sauna and hot tub were an excellent addition, and we also appreciated that we managed to do our laundry. The house is very cosy, warm, and charming. We made a barbecue on the terrace one afternoon, and the kids enjoyed the trampoline in front of the house. It is easy to find and well equipped. Also, the little town has a lot to offer, so it really is a good base to experience Iceland.

Le cadre proposé, très chaleureux autant dans la cabane : jeux pour enfants, tourne disque avec vinyles, enceinte... que dans le jardin : trampoline, bain nordique, sauna. Des services à dispo comme la buanderie ce qui n est pas négligeable quand on voyage avec des enfants ! Et la petite note en plus : les poules et le chat très câlin 🤩 Ne pas hesiter!
