Veel gebreken en onvoldoende schoonmaak. Te duur ook

We verbleven 5 dagen en 4 nachten in Bairro House Apartments and Suites in Lissabon.

    Didn't stay - what a dump!!!!

    Nothing

They only allow residents and taxis into the neighbourhood, so we had to park blocks away and drag our suitcases through narrow, steep streets. The neighbourhood looks like a New York slum with laundry hanging out to dry from many apartments. The building is very narrow, with the sign half ripped off, a damaged front door with peeling paint. The hallways are narrow, with chunks out of the drywall. Our room was on the fourth floor with narrow steep staircase up - no elevators. The room was renovated but dirty. My wife and I looked at each other and both said, "no way I'm staying in this slum". We didn't check in and found a decent hotel elsewhere. What a dump!!!!!. Room might be suitable for a backpacking kid. The area is filled with dumpy bars and kids drinking to all hours of the night. The website listing hardly describes how run-down this neighbourhood and building are. No pictures posted of the street or building - no wonder why- turned into an expensive nightmare.
