    Beautiful apartment in the alfama district met all my expectations the hosts were responsive and helpful.

    Perfect location i really wanted to be in Alfama in the historical area and this ticked the experience i was looking for.

    We exclusively booked all our 2 weeks stay using booking.com and following the description. This apartment has number of

    Location in Alfarma. Manny things are in walking distance and tram 12/28 and bus to the castle and look outs are very close.

    The stairs inside the apartment are narrow and quite steep. My wife had knee problems and really had a very hard time getting into of the apartment. She had to hold on to the railing and use a walking stick and walk sideways. Because of this issue we left in the morning and returned after dinner. I think the owners should disclose this information so people with knee or hip issues will not choose this apartment. There are 2 bedrooms and the small bedroom bed was sloped and keep waking up at night almost ready to fall off the bed. In the apartment it is posted that we have to be quiet after 10 PM. On the street just outside the apartment there were people speaking loudly late night and it was difficult to fall asleep. If you arrive by plane or by train you have to get a taxi to get to the apartment. Uber and or Bolt are not allowed to get close to it. This was not disclosed either. We learned about this on the day of our arrival.

    it was a pleasant stay overall but a little overpriced.

    the location is good, close to restaurants, public transportation. the apartment is clean, have basic kitchen appliances. water pressure & temperature for shower are good.

    there is a long & steepl stairs to enter the apartment. noisy when someone rolling the garage bins at night, because we lived at the lowest level. At the last night of our stay, there were smoke & smell, we believed they are from the restaurant downstairs

    Very good locate. We love the space. Very convenient to walk to all the places in the city we wanted to visit. The personal very nice and friendly.
