Very basic and somewhat dangerous
The accommodation was about 1km from Roma Termini
The room was very small and far more basic than described. It was very cramped and impossible for 2 people to move about at the same time. In the bathroom, the hairdryer was attached to an electrical plug just above the taps at the sink. Unfortunately, this electrical installation was hanging from the wall and was highly dangerous. Therefore, I could not use the hairdryer for fear of electrocution, but using the sink for washing was also risky. We had to leave the water in the shower, running for at least 10 minutes before any warm water appeared. The balcony was not the attractive feature claimed in the advert, but a place where the staff kept the rubbish. We only saw a member of staff once when we accidentally bumped into them in the street on arrival, so we were unable to raise any concerns. If this accommodation were really budget-friendly, it would be more acceptable, apart from the electrical installation in the bathroom. However it is not cheap.
