BALAY KUMBAL will be undergoing property improvements and expansion from July 13, 2026 to approximately February 2027, including the addition of new rooms and facility upgrades.     The place is very good ambiance and it's very nice to relax.

    Nothing, is just that no breakfast or restaurant, so better to have plan on the next morning.

    Great location with an amazing view out to sea across the reef.

    Great location, very quiet, no roosters, barking dogs or karaoke so a good nights sleep. First night was a little too warm as the aircon was not great but Gerry very quickly moved us to another room the following morning which was perfect. Gerry, owner and host, was extremely helpful and informative and we would definitely visit again when all the modifications are complete. Thank you for a great stay.

    Nothing that we did not already know about. For warned is for armed. Honesty from the owner meant there was nothing to complain about.

    Everything was amazing! The owner, Sir Gerry, is an outstandingly kind and accommodating host. He thoughtfully reached out before our check-in to give us a heads-up about daytime construction, even offering a refund—but it didn't impact us at all since we were out exploring during those hours. The property boasts a gorgeous blend of relaxed island vibes and sophisticated design. They have a common mini-kitchen with complimentary water, coffee, and tea, which was incredibly convenient. The highlight of our evenings was the gorgeous deck—it is absolutely the ultimate spot to unwind, chill, and watch the breathtaking Siquijor sunset after a long day of exploring. Highly recommended place to stay at when you're in Siquijor!
