Overall a good stay near South Beach, but not too near!
The location of the hotel was just what I wanted. Near to South Beach, but not right in the loudest part. It was walking distance from the main strip, but not right in it. It was just across the street from the beach. Our room was clean. We enjoyed the towels, beach chairs and umbrella that were included with our room, and I appreciated the late checkout they allowed us (12pm).
I requested a quiet room, but our room was on the first floor not far from the lobby and it was quite loud. Additionally, we requested early check in. Our room was not only not available early, it wasn't even ready at check in time. The receptionist had to get up and go clean the room herself it looked like. We were exhausted and sitting in the lobby waiting for our room, watching other people get checked in early, but not us, was frustrating. The room was quite small, but ok, and the bathroom is tiny but modern and clean.
