  A cheap option for a one- or two-night stay if you only need a place to sleep

  A good and inexpensive accommodation option if you're staying in Uvita for just one or two nights and only plan to return for sleep. - Unbeatable price. - Friendly and helpful host. - Good location. - There's a kitchen and a fridge, so you can cook by yourself. - Self check-in and check-out.

  The price is great and really unbeatable, but even considering how cheap this place is, there are some significant drawbacks: 1. There's no table, bedside table, or even a small shelf. At the same time, there are gaps in the floor, with bare ground underneath. Where are guests supposed to put small items, especially things (like coins or bank cards) that could fall through the gaps in the floor? 2. Of the two shower stalls, one is practically unusable because there's no latch to lock the door from the inside. The other, usable one doesn't have a single hook. Where are guests supposed to hang their clothes? Additionally, everything in the shower stalls is rusty. 3. It's very hot during the day and cold at night, but no blanket is provided. There are also some characteristics that aren't necessarily drawbacks, considering the nature of this accommodation, but may be inconvenient for many guests: 1. There's no any sound insulation. Sleeping here feels just like sleeping outdoors. 2. There's no hot water. -------------------------- UPDATE (October 16, 2026): After I published my original review with a rating of 7/10, the owner of "Ballena Oasis Homes & Chalets" sent me an unsolicited WhatsApp message stating: "You are 💩💩💩💩". This happened in the same WhatsApp conversation we had used for all communication regarding my stay, including check-in, check-out, and payment. The message appears to have been sent in response to my objective and balanced review, which described both the positive aspects and the shortcomings of the accommodation. I consider such behavior completely unacceptable from a hospitality provider. While the accommodation itself is basic but okay for short staying, this incident has significantly changed my overall impression of the property and its hospitality. I have therefore revised my original review and lowered my rating from 7/10 to 2/10.

  Nous avons apprécié l’emplacement et l'accueil par le monsieur (qui ne semble pas être réceptionniste)

  Le matelas était HORRIBLE, un ressort sortez même. La cuisine et les sanitaires etaient correcte mais la cuisine manque cruellement de nettoyage...

  Sencillo pero barato

  La relación calidad-precio resultó adecuada para una estancia económica y el personal en recepción ofreció un trato muy amable y cordial en todo momento. A pesar de la sencillez del alojamiento, el baño cumplió correctamente con su función y la experiencia general permitió descansar tras el viaje.

  El espacio interior de las cabañas es excesivamente reducido, dificultando la colocación del equipaje y las maletas. Las instalaciones se aprecian algo descuidadas a nivel general y la limpieza es mejorable. Asimismo, la temperatura en el interior es muy elevada durante las horas de calor, resultando insuficiente el ventilador disponible.

  Que estaba cerca de todo. Una buena ubicación.

  Podría ser una buena opción poner jabón de lavar manos en el lavatório cuando llegamos no había y compramos el jabón pero tal vez esos dispensadores serían perfectos
