    The setting is quiet and the surroundings are pleasant, with easy access to the bay. The apartment itself is well positioned.

    The air conditioning did not work. The toilet did not flush for the first days of our stay — we reported it, waited, and made no fuss about it. The security deposit was not returned within the period stated in the property's own conditions, and no substantiated breakdown of any charges was provided despite repeated requests. We acknowledge we made a mistake over the check-out date and apologised for it, compensated the cleaning staff ourselves, and left the apartment clean. The response was to withhold the full deposit, with the stated reason changing more than once. For roughly half our stay the bay was full of floating waste, which made it unusable for swimming. We are not pursuing the deposit further — not because it was resolved, but because we would rather not spend more time on it. Future guests should be aware that the deposit terms may not be honoured as written, and may want to document the state of the apartment at check-out.
