Good restaurants. Desserts are bad in the buffets.
Cons: Deserts and soft serve ice cream are made with all artificial ingredients and they taste terrible. It doesn’t make sense to produce so much product that is inedible and left on customer’s plates. I felt badly for all the kids eating the so called “ice cream” that tasted like chemicals. But….. The actual food is very good. We enjoyed the real food. Cons: The speakers in the pool area are so staticky that it creates an unpleasant sound and experience. It would be appreciated if there was entertainment during the day… live music or a band. But….. The pools themselves are very nice. Rooms were great, employees terrific in the Barcelo Maya Palace. The restaurants were great!
