Anna Maria Island is a wonderful location, so just make sure you book with the right management company.
We stayed in a ground-floor unit and had another party above us. You could hear every single step and noise from the second floor. The apartment itself was tidy and nicely located. The pool was great, but the BBQ didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks, so bring some aluminum foil if you plan to grill. While the mattresses felt fine at first, they were far too firm overall, making it tough for us to get a good night's sleep. The mattresses were just not comfortable.
Be aware that AMI Locals (the management company) requires guests to sign an extensive multi-page rental agreement outside of the Booking.com chat via a third-party link sent to your email. Furthermore, be certain of your dates before booking. Per their strict policy terms, there is no flexibility to modify or change the dates of your stay once confirmed; even if the unit is available on alternate dates or would result in a higher rate. Thanks to the support team at Booking.com, my issue was eventually resolved, but only after Booking.com intervened three times.

It was in the perfect location right by the water. Right across the street from a nice restaurant. The pool was right outside our Door. The atmosphere was just amazing. They offered a pack n play one suggestion would be to offer high chairs also
The only thing that I did not like about the property was the alarms. I have a 10 month old baby and sometimes it was hard to access the alarm when she was in my arms or if we were in a hurry. Also when we got there the floors felt dirty didn’t want my baby crawling on them.

The property was really nice, but the fact that the alarm went off every time you open, the door was annoying
