Altogether it was great and quiet.
Leaving a hoover 'd be good or maybe offer a mid week cleaning service (it could be a paid service if the guests opt for it) as we stayed long enough, and it was a challenge the keep the place clean.

Great Location, but the Apartment Fell Short of Expectations
Dear fellow travelers, this is one of those reviews I wish I could write more enthusiastically, because there are certainly some positives — but overall, the apartment did not live up to my expectations, especially considering the price. Let me start with what worked well: the location is excellent. Bari Vecchia and the city centre are within easy reach, there are cafés, restaurants, bakeries, butchers and a supermarket nearby, as well as good public transport connections. The building has a lift, the air conditioning in the living room and one bedroom was very welcome during the summer heat, and the beds were comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. The hosts were also consistently polite, responsive and warm in their messages, which I genuinely appreciated.
Unfortunately, the apartment itself was a different story. The first thing that surprised me was the digital access system. Both the main entrance and the apartment door are primarily opened through your phone via an app or website, including several verification steps. I am perfectly comfortable with technology, but I found this unnecessarily complicated for something as basic as entering your accommodation. Wi-Fi was not always immediately reliable either, and it made me wonder what happens if your phone battery dies. There is a backup key for the downstairs entrance, but that still does not entirely solve the issue of accessing the apartment itself. My biggest disappointment, however, was the lack of natural light. From the photos, I had expected a much brighter apartment. In reality, the main living and dining area has no external window at all. For a summer holiday, I personally found spending time in a room dependent entirely on artificial lighting quite depressing. This is an important feature that I feel should be made much clearer in the listing. The furnishings being older or mismatched did not bother me much. What did bother me was the general impression that the apartment had perhaps once been renovated with good intentions, but now needs some proper maintenance and attention. The advertised kitchen is extremely basic: essentially a sink, cabinets, a fridge and some storage. Anyone expecting a kitchen in which they can genuinely cook and prepare meals may be disappointed. The fridge was completely empty on arrival — even a bottle of water would have been a thoughtful touch — and the freezer needed defrosting. The washing machine is also very small, so do not expect to wash much more than a couple of towels at a time. The bathroom was the weakest point for me. At first glance it looks modern, but on closer inspection there are signs of wear, ageing doors, some rust marks and surfaces that no longer feel particularly fresh.
