    Peaceful Adirondack Respite

The Bark Eater Inn is our favorite place to stay in the Adirondacks. The inn is in a peaceful setting, surrounded by lawn, and fields of wildflowers. There is an amazing garden in the front yard. Breakfasts are fabulous. Meghan and Tyler are wonderful hosts. The place is clean and well-kept, and it is a great value for the price. The inn is in the High Peaks area, and Giant Mountain overlooks it from a distance. Nearby Sentinel Mountain is a more immediate guardian of the place.

    Awesome B&B

We LOVE The Bark Eater Inn. There aren’t enough words to express what a lovely B&B it is. Meghan and Tyler and all staff are wonderful. The place is spotless. They are very accommodating. The breakfast is what we look forward to every time we stay here. Highly recommend it!

    Spectacular

To say the Bark Eater property and inn are breathtaking is an understatement. We married here in a very small ceremony. Meghan was wonderful in helping us pull together a wedding on very short notice. We are so grateful and will be coming back each year for anniversaries and getaways. Thank you so much Meghan and Tyler! Jen & Eric

    Comfortable cozy

It was a very nice place to stay. We went off season so we had the place to ourselves. My wife needed a couple days of rest and relaxation and it was the perfect place. The cabin was very clean well kept up with all the amenities and very cozy. We will definitely be coming back.

Cozy Comfort and Great Conversations in the High Peaks!

The Bark Eater is a very special place in the heart of the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks. This farmhouse has been meticulously restored and decorated with a real aesthetic touch. The owners, Meghan and Tyler, are very warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the region. Their daily breakfasts were a highlight of our stay, in preparation for our hiking and cross-country skiing adventures. The guest rooms are spotless and a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Ours, the Birch Room, had amazing views (6 windows!) of the fields and mountains. We felt like we could spend the cold winter months warming ourselves in the sitting room by the well-stocked wood stove. Also, there are hiking /skiing trails on the property, and one day we explored them for two hours and loved it! We will definitely come back!
