Pup-Friendly Escape!
I wanted to quickly write and let you know that we had absolutely the most magical weekend visiting Barnsley (no one more so than our pup, Charlie!!!). We are so immensely appreciative and grateful for the hospitality your team extended to us throughout our entire stay. We especially adored dining with Reeves at Jules on Friday night (he is sunshine in human form and guided us expertly throughout our meal), and we were so impressed by David B. at Woodlands today as he navigated an influx of parties, schedules, and seating arrangements with absolute aplomb, grace, and warmth. I cannot wait to share my experience with my audience and on The Lauren Letter throughout this week, and my husband and I are already eagerly planning our next trip to Barnsley!!! A Hidden Gem You’ll Be Glad You Discovered
The Barnsley is a hidden gem! I’ve lived in Georgia almost 20 years and never heard of it until a friend mentioned it recently. I love the natural, but sophisticated environment, friendly service and fellow guests, and my cottage was well appointed, comfortable, relaxing and cozy. There is a variety of activities, so whatever your thing - the spa, golf, fishing, hiking, biking, canoeing, horseback, or just hanging out by the pool or conversation around one of the fire pits along the main walk - you will not run out of enjoyable activities. And if you just want to rest and wander the property, the trails and the historic site, and there to enjoy as well. I went alone for a personal retreat and left totally refreshed and ready to book a stay in a few months with my family!
