    Lovely, spacious and very private cottage. All areas were very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything you'd need. The location is in the countryside with views over the fields from the porch yet close to Rye and several sites we were interested in.

    No WiFi. Not a problem for us but might be a consideration for some.

    A lovely break in the Sussex countryside, perfect for visiting Rye and other locations

    Perfect location in beautiful countryside. Property furnished very tastefully and contained everything you could possibly need. Hosts were very friendly and we'll definitely visit again.

    Great place to stay with kids

    Great clean space, well equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches such as the kids toy cupboard, and the baby shower gel. Friendly host who is very eager to help.

    The shower. Unfortunately the knob is really stiff and the temperature is a little tepid at times. Not a deal-breaker by any means but one of the only things stopping this from being a 10/10 stay. I'm also a sucker for a physical welcome pack, with a guide to the accommodation, local walks, recommendations etc. If this place had one of those it would make it that much more welcoming.
